Like a Raindrop

Through evaporation, a droplet from sea reaches sky

With the company of similar such droplets,

Transform into clouds and through rain, reach back to sea

In between the short time, it takes the temporary identity of a water droplet

Then steam, then cloud and then a raindrop

Then reaches sea sometimes directly, sometimes to other waters

And then reaches sea taking some more time

Similar is our human birth

We born from Almighty, takes a separate identity for some time

Then reaches the Almighty and dissolves into vastness losing separateness

Sometimes like the raindrop fell in other waters taking time to reach sea,

We too might take time to reach the vast sea of Almighty

Whatever it may, we are always lord’s

As raindrop realise it is a part of vast sea and dissolves into the sea soon,

It is sea itself and not a small raindrop

  2. Loved the analogy. ॐ पूर्णमदः पूर्णमिदं पूर्णात्पुर्णमुदच्यते

    ॐ शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः ॥
