Illusions of Desire

Image: Moon through the mobile camera eyes 😊

Mind desires something

Once that is satisfied, it desires for another

It goes on and on if we don’t look into it

Before getting a desire fulfilled, mind becomes anxious

Once we get the desired object or person, we get fear of losing it

And if lost one day, we fell into sadness

Forgetting these three chains of desire, we again desire

That’s the nature of mind

It likes to desire anything that is outside of it

While likes to ignore the precious treasure within

Covered by endless dust of desires, the diamond lies hidden within

Once in a blessed moment of grace, we may get a glimpse of it

A deep silent blissful state

Without recognizing and valuing it as “That,

Mind ignores the precious one available eternally within

Mind thinks it may get happiness only by desiring something that which is external,

And works with all its might to fulfill it

Take the choice to go within and taste the bliss

Or travel through the endless chains of desires

Choice is ours 😊
