    1. Thank you dear Betty πŸ™‚ It is a common flower in Kerala. Blue and White varieties are there here. Blue one is used for making this tea and skin application. White is mostly used for medicine preparation, external application for insect and reptile poison etc in Ayurveda and Natural Medicine.

    1. Thank you dear Radhika πŸ™‚ If you have it at home, have a try. It is a bit expensive compared to Chamomile, but very beneficial to body and mind.

  1. Thank you dear Tushara πŸ˜ŠπŸ’•πŸ™ You can drink it anytime, but since it is purely caffeine free and calming, it can’t be taken in place of usual tea/coffee. Other than that, it’s a refreshing drink. If you add lemon juice to it, it will change to beautiful pink color and give a lemony flavor 😊 Without lemon, it’s just blue color and earthy flavor, no bitterness.

    1. Thank you dear Deeksha πŸ˜ŠπŸ™πŸ’• Give it a try with lemon and without lemon. It is a very good drink with numerous health benefits. Can drink 1-2 cups a day, but if you have low blood pressure, drink only 1 cup and not daily. One of my friend from Thailand told me this. They use this flower for coloring foods, make different type drinks, etc. It’s very good to apply on skin too with aloe vera gel to have
      healthy skin.

  2. Gosh! I’ve never heard of that! I’m going to look for it. Do You dry it out before making tea or did You just put the flower in hot water? It’s so lovely and is wonderful to learn about! Thank You, Krishna!!! Cheers! β˜•οΈπŸ¦‹β€οΈπŸ™πŸΌπŸ€—

    1. I keep the flower on plant itself to dry as it is sunny here and collect the dried flowers and save it in an airtight container. In rainy time, I collect the flowers next day allowing bees and other insects to take honey from them. Then I will put it on a plate and dry within home and at sun when sky is clear. These dried flowers can be kept upto 1 year with freshness if well dried and kept in airtight container. For skin care, you can use both fresh n dry flowers, but for the drink, dried ones are good. Fresh ones have a raw taste. It’s easy to grow in garden near a fence. It doesn’t need much water. We have few here 😊

    1. Thank you dear Inese πŸ˜ŠπŸ™πŸ’• If you have this flower in your garden, give it a try. It is available in Amazon and some herb stores too.
