    1. Yes, only few are still valuing these traditional medicinal spices and herbs. Majority are following Allopathic medicines and expensive supplements in place of cheap and easily available medicinal foods from our kitchens.

    1. I will check and let you know. What I use for hairloss and got good effects are applying lukewarm coconut oil mixed with 3/4th castor oil three times a week and wash off with mild shampoo, combing hair upside down and on scalp with wide tooth (big one) comb once daily and eating black sesame balls daily.

      1. I was using this castor oil method but I ran out of the oil now and I don’t know when I will come again to India! 😁

Eating black sesame balls is new to me though. Thanks Krishna! πŸ™‚

      2. Okay. You can use olive oil or vitamin E oil instead of castor oil, but make sure to mix with coconut oil. Eating black sesame seeds is good for heart, skin, hair, and overall health πŸ™‚

  1. I don’t have the herbs you mentioned with highest ORAC values, but I am convinced that every nation and every geographic location has its own very valuable natural remedies and effective plants and herbs. I’m writing about that, too, in lifeschool blog.
The reason one needs to stick to local and what their ancestors have consumed is in the DNA aspect of recognizing the important substances.
And, certainly, you are right mentioning that they need to be in natural state, free of chemicals, fertilizers and pesticides which is practically impossible to implement with megafarming.
This list and mention of ORAC values are very important for fighting COVID-19 since virus causes extreme blood clotting and patients don’t have enough oxygen in their bloodstream to support vital functions.

    1. Yes, you are absolutely right Inese. It is always good to stick to locally available herbs and spices at your place as it will be more effective to your body than trying new ones, especially at this trying times. How is the COVID cases in your place? Here in Trivandrum, amidst the government regulations it is increasing and we are all taking immunity boosting foods and going out just to buy essentials only with masks and social distancing. Thanks for reading and giving comments πŸ˜ŠπŸ™πŸ’•

  2. Oh wow!!! This is very helpful, Krishna! I’d never heard of ORAC! I’ve got the coffee, cinnamon and cocoa covered πŸ˜…, but could add more of all others. Really love this. Thank You and Thanks to Your friend and to Kirat Shergill as well!!! Cheers, huge hugs and Let’s ALL stay healthy!!!! πŸ€—β€οΈπŸŒ€πŸ˜ŠπŸ™πŸΌ
