As dearest of dearest,
Nearer than nearest
In the form of soul,
My lord resides in the cave of my heart.
When such a dearly presence is here
Always and always and always,
What should I desire for?
Desires are just fluctuations of mind
And are not of me at anytime

wanting discussion – and responding by relying on the other’s own direct experience – the greatest sage of all
Reblogging this…Thank you dearest George ๐๐ค
Discussion is for those who say, โWhat I say is right, and what you say is wrong.โ A sage never says such a thing hence, there is no discussion.
Bowl of Saki, May 24, by Hazrat Inayat Khan
Commentary by Hazrat Inayat Khan:
Once I was with a sage whom many people went to see. He pleased them all, and he was not fond of disputing or discussing, because to a sage there is nothing to discuss. Discussion is for those who say, โWhat I say is right, and what you say is wrong.โ A sage never says such a thing; hence there is no discussion. My Loving Lord
Residing always within my heart,
With just a thought away is my almighty
I lovingly call him Siva sometimes
Sometimes I call him Narayana
But he is beyond names and forms
Hearing the name of my lord,
I feel goose bumps sometimes
Sometimes my eyes were filled with tears of joy
Seeing the sky, I remember his blue form and all pervasive nature
Sometimes, in the form of a song,
I hear his voice talking to me
Sometimes, in the form of words in books,
I read his message to me
I always wonder about the unique ways of my lord
Who is always communicating with me with lots of love ๐
Swinging on Rainy Evening
Knock…knock…
Where meditation leads
From our dearest George Wahl
John of the Cross (1592-1591)
In the inner stillness where meditation leads,
the spirit secretly anoints the soul and heals our deepest wounds.
Contemplation is nothing else but a secret peaceful and loving infusion of god
which if admitted will set thesoul on fire with a spirit of love.
Seek in reading and you will find in meditation.
Knock in prayer and it will beopen to you in contemplation.
Silence is godโs first language, however softly we speak, god is so close to us that we can be heard.
Nor do we need wings to go in search of god.
But merely to seek solitude andcontemplate god within ourselves,
without being surprised to find such a good guest there.
